In past years we raised and trained Labrador Retrievers and Jack Russell Terriers, but we have always had cats as pets. I became interested in Ragdoll cats after hearing my sister describing this breed to my children. While attending a cat show one year, I observed one large, beautiful Ragdoll lie down and roll over on the judges table as if noone else was in the room. He closed his eyes, ready to take a nap! I was hooked. I wanted to have my own Ragdoll. This led to an interest in hands-on involvement with breeding programs of the Ragdoll cat.
